Original expressive landscape painting of a path through parkland 40cm x 40cm, inspired by the British countryside and a particular walk through the local Countryside. There is a wintry feel to this work and darkness is drawing in. 

The style is energetic and textured with visible mark making using palette knives and brushes and a little collage; the marks and scratches reveal the vigour with which it was painted. Part of a series of impressionistic landscape works produced in September 2019.

Painted using mixed media: Artist’s liquitex acrylic paint, acrylic ink, pencils and collage on 12mm deep stretched canvas, ready to hang with painted edges, or suitable for framing.
